Medical Program

By networking with different organizations in the medical field such as Physicians for Peace Int'l and Philippine Pediatric Society, BahayBata127 coordinated a Goodwill Mission for Children with Special Needs in partnership with Frank Foundation, USA last August 2005. Beneficiaries are government orphanages, the Research Study Center for Children at Quezon City (75 kids) and Lubao, Province of Pampanga (40 kids).

On Bahaybata127's 2nd anniversary in January 2006, the Ma. Aurora de Guzman Pediatric Clinic was constructed and dedicated. It offered dental and medical services for the beneficiaries as well as underprivileged children of the community.

Another medical mission done every summer in partnership with the Physicians for Peace and UP-PGH medical team is Project Tule where 100 youth aged 12-16 years old were circumcised for free.

Baby Hazel's Operation a Success!

Dear Everybody,

I would like to share this photos of Baby Hazel today. This is her first day out side the hospital. She's confined last saturday and operated last monday and now she's here at the Community center.

We at Bahay Bata 127 and Baby Hazel's parents are very grateful and thankful to the Lord and to all the people who supported her fulfill her parents prayers.

We are thankful to the Lord because He had showed miracles for this baby. First when she was diagnosed to have the promari Koch's infection, the reason her first schedule for operation was delayed. But further test on this to see how far is the contamination of the infection showed negative result, Glory to God. So subsequently she was cleared by Pedia doctors, and was admitted last saturday. Next, her doctor scheduled baby Hazel for shunt surgery only and if they see that baby Hazel can still carry on they will do the repair of the back. Praise God because after 5 hours at the operating room and finally transfered to recovery her mom cant help it but cry and thank the Lord for she realized that the lump at the back was gone.

We believe our God is doing all this miracles. All Praises to Him
